We were able to stay only one night at this delightful B and B in this quiet Dorset village. The accommodation and hospitality is excellent in every respect with quite exceptional attention to every detail. It was raining when we arrived so our host came to the car with an umbrella; all the bags were carried to our room. We were also greeted by Paul with tea and cake. Every detail in our room was first class - breakfast was excellent with a huge choice. We stayed in room 2. On our departure the bags were carried to the car.
If we are in the area again we will certainly stay here.

Having stayed at The Quiet Woman on several ocassions over the past three or four years, we had no hesitation about booking for another four night break. Everything was as faultless as usual: the warm welcome on our arrival, the hospitality and service, the comfort and cleanliness of the rooms, and the variety and the quality of the delicious breakfast every morning, comprising fresh fruits and locally sourced sausages.

what a lovely place. My wife and I spent four days there and we were really impressed with our warm welcome form Paul, and the care and consideration we received. Nothing was too much trouble, and the morning breakfasts were delicous. I would recommend the QWH to anyone who needs a home form home near Yeovil. We will definitely be staying there again.

This is our third stay at the quiet woman house. Paul looked after us very well, the accommodation was very clean and spotless, with a delicious breakfast each morning, offering plenty of choice. We would highly recommend this B&B.

We stayed at the Quiet Woman House five years ago, the memory etched in our minds as we had arrived in the rain, and Paul came to meet us in the car park with a huge golf umbrella. The great attention to customer service and satisfaction had not changed. Nothing was too much trouble. From our arrival, we experienced friendly service, comfortable bed and chairs, snacks tray in the room laden with goodies and fresh milk in a flask, we felt like royalty.
Breakfast was good – you choose what cooked items you want the night before – it had the best range of cereals I have seen anywhere.
The Quiet Woman is located on the main road through a village, but it is not over busy with traffic. There is nowhere for an evening meal in the village but there are quite a few country pubs as well as restaurants in Yeovil and vicinity.

We have stayed at the QWH on 3 occasions, and if it were possible to give an ELEVEN out of TEN then I would, it cannot be bettered, and it is very well run by Paul, who will always give you a warm and genuine welcome, the area is lovely, the building is lovely the rooms are really very nice, and a smashing substantial breakfast. If you are looking for a place in the area then look no further, you will not get better than the Quiet Woman, and once you have been you WILL return.

What a lovely place to stay. Lovely gardens to relax in, lovely bedroom with beautiful bathroom and cool, smooth, cosy bedding, just so comfortable. Everything on the breakfast menu was delicious and quality. Fresh fruit, cereals, toast, a breakfast cooked to order, what more would or could anyone want? A more welcoming and helpful host would be difficult to find. When we arrived we were greeted with a choice of cake, lemon drizzle being the chosen one, was just so delicious.

Room Tip: All three bedrooms are beautiful.
