With a wealth of activities for children and extremely friendly farm animals, Putlake Adventure Farm is an ideal value for money day out.
On site you are never stuck for something to do regardless of the weather. In the sun one can enjoy the outdoor play area, pedal karts and mechanical diggers whilst if it rains there is a fantastic indoor soft play area complete bouncy castle and a wide variety of farm animals to meet (who I might add love a bit of petting!)
The cafe was very pleasant, converted from old horse stables it lacked no character whilst offering fantastic, friendly service.
The owners of the farm made plenty of time for us and were very knowledgable about the farm and it's history.
I'd highly recommend this destination and all of it's attractions, I'm sure your experience will be every bit as pleasant as ours

Visited during half term. The new owners and staff were busily making sure everyone was well-looked after. Tidy, clean yard, plenty of animals but the soft-play and sandpit were the winners!
Only thing to make life easier...a child's loo/ larger and warmer changing area. Thank you...

We visited Putlake on a Sunday morning, the farm is really lovely and would be perfect for small children. The staff are really friendly and we had toast and hot chocolate in the tea room (the picture on the website don't do the place any justice. Animals are well kept and we had a nice time there. We wish you every success in the future :)

We go to the farm regularly and our daughter (17 months) loves it. The soft play area is more that a child could ever wish for, and the facilities (baby changing, toilets, cafe) are directly around the corner. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful both indoors and outdoors, where there is animal feeding and a nice playground. In the cafe, the food is freshly prepared and very tasty, they also offer picnic boxes for toddlers. With a loyalty card you can get best value for your money. It's definitely worth a visit!

We went to Putlake 5 years ago with our daughter who was then 3, and had a wonderful visit. This time we were bringing our 3 year old son and had a look at the trip advisor reviews before we went and were disappointed to read the negative reviews. We still thought we'd give it a go, and we were so glad we did as we loved it just as much.
We spent the afternoon there and felt as if we had good value from our family entry ticket as the kids were well occupied all afternoon, and we could have stayed longer. We had a tractor ride, looked at all the animals (who looked very well cared for, and the owners were very knowledgable about). The children played in the park and the sandpit and loved the go-karts.
The owners were extremely friendly and welcoming and kindly organised goat bottle feeding and rabbit petting for us as it was quite quiet by the end of the day.
We rounded off a lovely visit with a wild crash around in the soft play barn and the kids were worn out and happy. A perfect combination!
And just in case you're in any doubt I'm not an employee of Putlake either this is a genuine review and we wish the new owners of Putlake all the very best in their venture. Please don't be put off by negative reviews give it a go.
