Attended a day with Jonathan Sells, never carved stone before and was really impressed what with what we achieved in a day. Beautiful views, very welcoming people, lovely atmosphere and a wonderful tutor. I left feeling like my soul had been refreshed. My only negative is that I didn't book onto a 2 day course!! Will be back :)

Small range of snacks available (take your own lunch), composting toilet (the nicest one i have used so far!), local crafts for sale.

Be prepared to be bitten by the carving bug!

“A great escape”

My 10 year old daughter and I did an afternoon beginners session with three members of another family. This is a friendly facility and the setting is lovely with open views over Swanage Bay. Our tutor was excellent: safety conscious, fun and a good teacher with plenty of time for our varying aptitudes and artistic abilities! This was a good holiday activity to get completely immersed in for a few hours.
