We stayed here for three nights whilst touring around the Humberside area. The hotel enjoys a relatively quiet and peaceful setting under the watchful gaze of the Humber Bridge, which can be seen from many of the rooms in the building. We are not car owners but Hessle railway station is not too far away (around 25 minutes on foot) and there are bus services in the area, both from Hull and over the bridge into Barton-upon-Humber. It works fine if you are planning daytime activities, probably not so good for late nights out in Hull.
We had no complaints about our room. It was quiet, comfortable, clean and modern. The views out of the window were great. We slept very well. We had breakfast in the adjoining Brewers Fayre on one morning - there was a good choice and we were more than happy. Any enthusiastic Park Runners out there, thinking of staying here on a Friday night, should note that there is a weekly event in the adjacent Humber Bridge Country Park. It was a testing course but I loved it and it was great that it was so close to the hotel. We would stay here again should we find ourselves visiting the area in the future.More
