“watch out for the fish”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 July 2014

We visited the gardens on a very sunny and hot day on our stay in town. We watched the children feeding the fish in the pond. I went over to the side after they moved away and could not believe the size of the fish, who came to meet me with there mouths open. Apart from that we had a lovely walk all around the gardens taking in the flowers and of course the water lilies. It was a very nice visit. They have a museum, and a cafe on site as well

“Recent visit, will be coming again soon!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 July 2014

We recently visited for the first time, having been to Pocklington before but never here!

Can't believe we hadn't, such a fantastic place, beautiful lakes, flowers, trees.

Absolutely loved it, we came with a friend of ours in a wheelchair and where we wanted to go, he could go to :) which was brilliant :)

We also went into the cafe and the food was very nice too

Will definitely be visiting again soon :)

Oh also just a little note, the people in the gift shop/entrance very pleasant too

The gardens are lovely, well kept and colourful. Paths are smooth and suitable for wheelchairs and buggies. There is a small cafe serving drinks, cake etc. A very pleasant way to spend an afternoon.

Nice gardens to walk around. Good for all ages.Kept a two yer old busy for a couple of hours.
Some places a bit tricky for the older generation.
Feeding the fish in the large ponds very popular with young and old alike.
