“Peaceful location, lovely homely cottage, welcoming hosts”
Reviewed 19 July 2016 for a stay in July 2016

Really enjoyed my stay here, booked the cottage as a base for my daughters wedding in Brockweir, it had everything we needed for the nights before, and for family guests after the event. I relished the peace and quiet when I had the cottage to myself after the guests went home. Well worth having that extra time spent resting and winding down. A lovely village within walking distance with plenty of walks around the area. Had a good Sunday lunch at the George in the village which was reasonably priced.

“Really comfortable cottage”
Reviewed 20 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

Only stayed for 3 nights, but wish could have stayed longer. Very welcoming owner, who took time to show us around their lovely barn conversion. Welcoming home-made cake (really tasty!) and bottle of wine, along with little 'extras' (powders / tabs for washing machine / dish washer, liquid soap in kitchen and cloakroom, shower gel in bathroom).
Plenty of room, and loads of information for surrounding area.
Great base for exploration of the Forest of Dean.
