We had room # 1 which was a disappointing experience. The room itself is spacious even though there are 2 beds, one extra bed, one double sleeping couch, a crib and a dinnertable for 4. Everything is spottlesly clean and staff is friendly.
Dinner was good, salad bar was fresh and crispy.
The walk around the nearby little castle was scenic.
Now for the negative part. There was no ventilation at all; the room was steaming hot. The only solution for some air was to open the windows ... letting in the noise from the street with cars passing right underneath. Plus the smell of diesel.
The bathroom is tiny, which was OK for just the two of us for 1 night, but I don't see how this would accomodate a family.
Checking in took a long wait for someone to show up.
The "included" breakfast was minimal.
There is no elevator, the staircase has no stable banisters.
The courtesy welcome consisted of 1 small bottle of water, 1 apple, 1 tiny chocolate that we were apparantly supposed to share.
The Internet was a drama. The code works for a limited time and this hotel does not support Whatsapp after the first message.
The free parking was not available as of Saturday afternoon due to a flee market on Sunday.
Everything considered, I don't think this was good value for 145 Swiss franks for the roomMore
