We were booked there for five nights, self catering, so we had lots of food and clothing for our stay. 37 uneven steps to the cottage. After 15 mins, when we had finished the fourth unloading journey, the lady owner rang us to ask if she could send someone around to help us. During the whole stay no one came to empty the kitchen bin so when something started to smell around day 2, we thought it was this, but we discovered on the last day, it was a dead mouse in the bin by the bed. There is a lovely big mirror fastened to the wall, but unfortunately the nearest socket is on the other side of the room so if you want to style your hair after using the dribbling outlet that was masquerading as a shower, then you have to imagine how you wish it to be. Rhodes is a beautiful place, the view is magnificent, the bed is superbly comfortable but the level of hospitality/contact is terrible. The description says there is a 'fitness center' but no one told us where it was, or even enquired over our welfare after five days. Not horrible but just disappointing really.
