In the old days there was Little Chef, a good reliable source of food for those on the road. It served food that was hot and cheep and was consistent across the whole group. Sadly those days seem to have gone now, but a new contender has arisen in the form of Morrison’s.
If you are looking for good, wholesome food at a very reasonable price then I would heartily recommend a call at the nearest Morrison’s store that has a restaurant.
Our local is Morrison’s in Eccles Gtr Manchester and we often visit with the grandchildren as a treat for them to eat out. The food, although basic, is always fresh and cooked to order with minimal wait. The staff are friendly and efficient and will help you with anything extra you may require, as often happens with kids. Beans instead of peas or chips instead of mash, it’s no problem.
They keep everything clean and tidy as is the case in all Morrison’s establishments.
Never doubt that they will serve you well wherever you for a meal within the group and to that point I would recommend you pay a visit.
Top marks to Morrison’s and especially the Eccles branch.
