We decided to go to manor farm, had asked a neighbour who had been and said it was nice but small, we thought we would take my little baby to see the animals, I checked the price on the internet which was £7 per adult, that was ok, but was shocked to see we had to pay a further £3.50 for the car park, thought this was very checky(did boy read the reviews before we went), it is a small farm and I would say it was ok, we was there for just under 2 hours and we took lunch with us, would advise to go on a sunny day so you can sit in the picnic area and take lunch and spread the day out longer!

“Expensive.....”
Reviewed 15 June 2014 via mobile

....considering what's on offer....ok, it's a nice place and if you were planning to make a whole day of it with a family picnic in hand, I guess it's not too bad, however, if like me and my son you just fancy a quick visit, then at £7.00 each + £3.50 to park your car it doesn't really represent very good value for money.

“D Day & WII Attractions”
Reviewed 15 June 2014

Just got back from a very pleasant day at Manor Farm Country Park. Themed this weekend from World War Two. Kitchens cooking food, soldiers marrying their sweethearts, heavy horses working the land along with the land-girls. Displays of war-time vehicles, people dressed up in the full dress of the day, be it soldiers, land-girls, wardens and evacuees. Americans, Germans and British. Well worth the day out, thank you. Even when not themed there is lots to do and plenty of farm animals about. We'll be back with the grand children next time.

“Another great morning at the Farm!”
Reviewed 9 June 2014 via mobile

What can I say, the Hampshire Culture Pass is great when all your child wants to do is look at Tractors, see the animals and ride Trains (Royal Victoria Country Park). It's great value for money. We parked easily without additional cost and flew through the reception signing in on the way through. Our son wanted some food for the chickens and you get a bucket you can take home for the garden! You can easily spend a few hours here an the cafe is always well stocked. It's always good to have an early or late lunch because at peak it gets busy!

We walked through the lovely gardens peeked in the air raid shelter and through to the fields where we could see the sheep, pigs and the Shepherds Hut. We always pretend to make dinner and have a cup of tea! You also have to look out for the loose sheep who apparently is an escape artist!

All great, son really enjoyed himself (so did I) and now we want chickens! We always come back again and again.

“A great place for children”
Reviewed 7 June 2014

I love Manor farm as it has both hands on experiences of farm animals for educating children and lots of information on how farming was done before and during the war. There are displays of the BBC series about farming during the second world war, a Victorian school and an old farm house to look at. My grandchildren love it
