Description: Greens restaurant & bar is situated on the corner of the historic Wickham square. It is very easy to find and to park. The outside of the property looks traditional, well cared for and inviting. The inside is light & airy with a contemporary feel. Restful colours and wooden blinds add to the ambience. Crisp linen napkins, fresh flowers, friendly professional service and superb fresh food. Everything on the seasonal menus is homemade, using locally sourced produce whenever possible. The secret graden overlooking Wickham water meadows and the river Meon is a superb location in summer for a relaxing lunch. Owners Frank & Carol Duckworth have been running this establishment since 1985 and they are as passionate today as they were when they began trading. Their tag line of 'nothing is too much trouble' is as relevant today as it was in 1985. The menu includes fresh king scallops, mussels, sea bream, Hampshire 21 day aged steaks, vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options.

We met up with good friends who had pre booked a table for 12.30pm today.
It was a miserable wet summers day, but we were welcomed by staff and after ordering drinks at the bar were shown to our table by the window.
We ordered a main course plus dessert with coffee to follow.
All the food was very well presented and piping hot and was excellent value for money.
Great ambience and we all had a lovely lunch and good catchup.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the final bill represented very good value for money.
Highly Recommended to go there for lunch or evening meal.

We ate here for a birthday celebration on a Saturday evening. One of our young party is exceptionally fussy and the restaurant could not have been more accommodating. It's a pleasure to go out and not be told that if it isn't on the right part of the menu then you can't have it, The food was exceptional, the service attentive but not intrusive. I will not list what we had to eat. do yourself and favour and phone them to book a table now.
My many thanks to Jackie and her staff for making this visit( our second) worth the trip.

A rare thing these days, a well run English restaurant offering good service, good food (dishes are creative without being extreme) and a selection of interesting wines by the glass. The fish courses are recommended. I look forward to returning.

We ate at Greens with our friends to celebrate a special occasion. We chose Greens as we had heard lots of good reviews about it and wanted somewhere a little more special than your average restaurant/pub. The service and food was excellent. Each dish was well presented and our waiter couldn't do enough for us. I had the Hake fillet wrapped in parma ham, which was delicious. We shared puddings as by then we were all full! It was a little pricier than places we have been in the area but for a special occasion, we don't mind paying that bit extra.
An all round excellent place and one we will be visiting again
