Description: Greens restaurant & bar is situated on the corner of the historic Wickham square. It is very easy to find and to park. The outside of the property looks traditional, well cared for and inviting. The inside is light & airy with a contemporary feel. Restful colours and wooden blinds add to the ambience. Crisp linen napkins, fresh flowers, friendly professional service and superb fresh food. Everything on the seasonal menus is homemade, using locally sourced produce whenever possible. The secret graden overlooking Wickham water meadows and the river Meon is a superb location in summer for a relaxing lunch. Owners Frank & Carol Duckworth have been running this establishment since 1985 and they are as passionate today as they were when they began trading. Their tag line of 'nothing is too much trouble' is as relevant today as it was in 1985. The menu includes fresh king scallops, mussels, sea bream, Hampshire 21 day aged steaks, vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options.

Visiting from Australia and went there with some friends who lived locally. Great position on the corner of the old market square where there was plenty of free parking after 5:00pm. The title of restaurant and bar is correct, there was both there with the emphasis on the restaurant but with a bar for pre-dinner drinks.
Tables were nicely spaced out and laid out for a meal with wine giving a very warm and comfortable feel. There were nightly specials in addition to the the broad menu and a good wine menu as well.
Our meals were lovely, the service prompt and friendly. It was a great place and everyone throughly enjoyed the evening.
It was a first class restaurant that we would certainly go to again.

Booked here for 8 people. Seated well in a lovely spacious table. We all had the 2 course option.
The place is busy and clean. Food is priced reasonably for the area.
We all Sunday lunch. The pork was good. Beef was a bit grisly. The yorksire puddings were too crispy not fresh enough. Gravy needed more oomph. The desert we couldn't fault just perfect.
Service was attentive on clearing the table and asking if everything was good. However a little more care is required as my wine glass was taken whilst there was some left. I didn't complain but it would of been nice to be asked.
Overall ok for Sunday lunch. Not the best but just ok

Went for Sunday lunch with friends. We all had roast. Pork was a tad dry, rolled sirloin of beef a little fatty but chicken very succulent. All of the veg was perfectly cooked with just the right amount of crunch and the roast potatoes were as they should be - tasty and crispy. Overall a reasonably good Sunday lunch which would have had 5* if they hadn’t overcooked the pork and trimmed the beef.
