I stayed at Yew Tree House for two nights with my partner. It was magical. Fantastic accomodation, lovely people - everything was first class. Breakfast was excellent. Sue and John could not have been more helpful. A perfect place to stay. 5* Top quality. Would certainly recommend.

My wife and I stayed for our wedding anniversary and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. We were welcomed with delicious home-made cake and tea. The room was fabulous and the facilities first-class. We booked an evening meal which was absolutely stunning - restaurant quality food. We would recommend Yew Tree House without any hesitation.

Room Tip: If you book an evening meal don;t forget to bring your own wine!

Had a truly fantastic couple of nights stay here. Lovely people, nothing too much trouble. Sue cooked us a wonderful meal on the first night and both days the breakfast were perfect. All in all had a really great time and thanks so much for the loan of the CD for the surrounding area tour.

My husband and I stayed for two nights at Yew Tree House and enjoyed the break. Sue and John were pleasant hosts and generous with their care, time etc. It was a delight to sit near a log fire in the evening. Ask to borrow the CD tour of the surrounding area. The breakfast was excellent with home-made bread, yogurt and a good selection of hot food. A great B&B.

Everything was perfect, we could not have wished for more. We stayed two nights visiting family who had just moved to the area. We chose this B&B because off all the good reviews on Tripadviser and completely agree with all the other positive comments.
From the moment we were greeted we were made to feel very much at home, having a tray of tea in front of a roaring open fire in the delightful guest sitting room. The bedroom was tastefully decorated, with beautiful crisp white bed linen, and very comfortable in all respects.
The breakfasts are first class and well deserve the Award. Thankyou Sue and John we hope to be back in February.

So glad we found this lovely and welcoming Yew Tree House for our weekend. Warm welcome from lovely hosts made us feel like at home. Breakfast was great. We were asked for our choices and spoiled with the offer. We also had a chat with the owners which make us feel as if we were in a friend’s home and not paying guests.
The room decor is contemporary but with a rustic; stylish twists. Everything was scrupulously clean. It has obviously been well-renovated recently, feels very fresh. The room we were staying in, had lots of space with a king size bed and with ensuite looking out onto the rear garden.
I recommend to anyone and definitely would love to be back!

We stayed for one night at Yew Tree House where we recieved a warm welcome and tea in the comfortable guest's sitting room - instant relaxation.
Our room was tastefully furnished and provided everything we needed and more! We found the bed so comfortable, with it's goosedown duvet and crisp white linen, we would have liked to take it home with us.
The bathroom was generously equiped and had a well lit mirror, which is rare in most b&b's and hotels, and a lovely view over the delightful garden with it's Yew Tree 'house' and the beautiful surrounding countryside
Sue cooked a superb three course meal for us, and then coffee in the sitting room where there is lots to read, accompanied by the sound of a gently crackling log fire.
A very good breakfast was served at a time to suit us. I particularly liked the home made yogurt with fruit, and toasted home made bread.
We definitely plan to return and stay longer.
