Only stayed one night and granted they had two big functions on, ( 0ne Wedding, one silver annervisary) but this was not a factor. Staff were friendly, but service was poor. Waited 40 mins for bar snack, during which a member of Staff arrived after 10 mins and was served 10 minutes before us. Chips arrived after we had finished rest of food. Senior Staff shouted at junior Staff members for taking a break when they shouldn't have infront of us. Could not use lift to 4th floor with luggage as Staff were continually using it between floors, (informed of that by Staff who were waiting to use it themselves). Could not get Air conditioning to work. Spa out of Service. Desk booked evening taxi successfully for us as we were afraid to take our car because we would have been unlikely to get parking on our return from a show. Booked out at 0800 on Sunday morning because bed uncomfortable but still couldn't use lift down. Reception joked it was cleaning Staff using it between floors. Room, like rest of Hotel, OK but in need of makeover. Staff friendly but that didn't make up for the disappointing bits. Would not use again.

We arrived late morning but was told there was a room available though, so could check in. We have stayed here twice before and never had a problem. Anyway after attacking the maze of finding our room and entered we were deeply disappointed. The room hadn't been serviced from previous occupants as suggested. Bins were full, bed unmade and damp towels in bathroom. View out the window was something to be desired too. I call reception and they said come back down to reception and they will get the room ready for us. We sat in reception for 1hr 30mins. We were not offered any refreshments as we had been waiting awhile. Nothing. In the end we walked out put bags back in car and went into town. On arriving back and entering room everything seemed fine. I decided to have a bath. Started running water and saw grit at bottom of bath. So rinsed it all out. After bath and draining it I was disgusted to see black scum line all around the bath. I felt like I wanted to pack up and leave to be honest. The standard has slipped dramatically since our last stay and we will definitely won't be coming back. We will go to premier inn in Croydon where we stayed last year. At least you know the standard you will receive.

The Bromley Court Hotel, Bromley is, like other reviews have stated, a little oasis in what is a busy greater London town. Set in very pleasant grounds, this hotel is set over a number of floors with space for conferences, weddings and other functions. The hotel is in two parts - the old side and the new side, both of which are well furnished and looked after effectively.

Rooms differ. Some are small and others are a good size. Either way, rooms are well furnished, clean and tidy. Room service and cleaning is of very good quality.

The check-in experience is satisfactory and it could be better. Some service quality offered is less than good because it is less genuine and can be haphazard in terms of speed and quality. That said, service overall from staff is good.

Bar and restaurant staff do a good job. They work effectively and serve you well.

The hotel is like a maze of rooms, corridors and mezzanine levels and this adds to the delights of staying here. You'll get a good night's sleep because the beds are comfortable and there is little noise. Air conditioning is a bit temperamental and the hotel (rooms and shared spaces) become quite warm and stuffy at times.

Overall, this is a nice place to stay. There are no problems and staff work well to make your stay a pleasant one. I would return and I'd recommend it to others.

I've stayed here many times and its efficient., friendly, well maintained, and comfortable. For a business trip its fantastic - all the rooms are pretty big, well appointed, beds are comfortable, desk is a good size for late night working, and the free wi-fi is really very realiable and faster than I was expecting! Large car park for those of you that drive, but a bit of trek from the railway station so local bus or taxi is my preference to get there. Rooms also have flat screen TV and large selection of channels which is always welcome. Cocktail bar is pleasant, staff are friendly. For some rooms you'll need to concentrate on the signs to find them but that just adds to the experience! All in all good hotel, well situated, and as a bonus a good loyalty scheme through Best Western for regular visitors!

I have stayed here 3 times so far this year and have been checked in efficiently each time.

The rooms are pleasant, clean and well equipped with flat screen TV, trouser press kettle and en-suite.

I have not tried the cocktail bar or garden restaurant but the bar is comfortable with pleasant staff and a good menu in terms of quality and choice.

I look forward to my next stay.

I've stayed here several times, and as ever it was efficient and friendly - a bit of a maze, but if you concentrate, you'll find reception again eventually. There are some really super rooms overlooking the gardens at the back, which are very quiet and light. The restaurant is posh-ish and the food excellent. Breakfast buffet one of the best.

Room Tip: Ask to overlook the garden at the rear.
