We went with group of friends, 7 people, on Saturday evening.Food was very good, garlic bread with home made pate was amazing, Sicilian salad - very tasty, I did not try the pizza, but my friends said was awesome. We had bottle of wine for 3 of us, and other 4 of my friends had few beers, exactly 9pm, we were asked to leave because they are closing now. We still had wine in the glasses, our taxi driver was still eating pizza, but as soon as we paid our bill, the waitress said she wants to close and we need to go now. That went to the point that she just took our unfinished glasses of wine from the table.... while we were still drinking. We asked her to give us 5 minutes to finish our drinks - no mercy. The food was good, but Im not planning to return to this place. Very unprofessional, unfriendly and lazy staff.

We were told it was the best and waited all week for it to open. The pizza was good, not great. The garlic bread was better because it was butter-soaked. Not impressed since we live in the Italian Market in Philly, but very good for the region. The view of the mountains is beautiful and we watched a cow slug through the grass to graze right in front of us. (A good thing) Then the cutest puppy came to say hello. Service was a little standoffish, especially since there were only a few other patrons. SO for pizza and a view, sure nice place. (No idea how the other dishes are)

On the road to Isla Grande and few minutes from Portobelo you can get great pizza, steaks and superb freshly baked for your order European style bread loaf. Prices are reasonable, service excellent. Owners are from France / Italy. Not to miss apple pie and order garlic bread with your food.
The restaurant only open Thursday – Sunday.
