The places is located up the hill (almost in middle of nowhere - which is the best part about it). They have built 4 beautiful Cottages (2 Tents and 2 Wooden ). They have maintained cleanliness of the place very well. They have kept it very natural and simple and i think that is the beauty of the place. 4 of us had stayed there in tent accommodation. According to what they charge , they provide much more in terms of natural beauty, comfortable stay and FOOD. So the accommodation comes with FOOD which i must mention is finger licking (Both veg and non-veg) and they feed you so much in terms of taste and quantity (that too 3 times), that you would just want to sit back and admire the beauty after that. The service they provide is really good.Staff was extremely friendly and humble.
I will definitely go back there with my friends again just to chill :)
Keep it up guys :)
We were probably the first few visitors to this place. I must say that the location of this homestay is its USP. It's not like your average homestay where you just get a couple of rooms attached to the owner's main house. It has got 4 separate, secluded cottages with 5 beds with an attached bathroom. Hot water is available. You feel planted inside a coffee estate with lots of green foliage around. The Swiss cottage is unique in its style yet offers a lot of practicality. The 2nd swiss cottage exactly makes you feel inside the coffee plantation.
The place offers a fixed menu for all 3 meals. The menu offerings are tasty and more than sufficient to tickle your taste buds. If you are a non-vegetarian don't miss the Coorg style pork masala and chicken.
You can go around the estate for a morning walk which will give a different feel to your boring usual mornings.
The owners have a plan to utilize the empty space in the estate for some activities. Hope to see some action.
You can plan a trek to the nearby falls or the Brahmagiri range.
A nearest valley view point is 5 mins drive in your car. Offers a spellbinding view of the valley. Take a look at the photos captured at the view point.
