Comfortable, clean, well furnished, good value for money and an excellent breakfast. Would recommend the 'Great House' pub across the road for good food and the Kino cinema in the village. Also Bodiam Castle nearby is excellent (open all year). Lots of National Trust places close by that are open in the warmer months.

We stayed for two nights. As Germans, we learned, how wonderful B&B in England can be. The house is situated in a quiet location and has a beautiful garden. Sue gave us a very warm welcome with tea and cake in the garden. Our room was large, lovely decorated, very clean and has windows on three sides of the house. The breakfast was large and tasteful and included for example homemade bread. For dinner, there ist a recommandable restaurant nearby.

This is the most lovely B&B! The hosts are wonderfully polite and helpful and the house is spotless and perfectly comfortable. The beautiful garden in the back is a treat, and the chickens, vegetable garden and Honey the dog just add to the picturesque character of the place.
Breakfast was generous and delicious, prepared with really fresh quality ingredients. Sue is most obliging to all dietary needs and preferences.
Also, the recommended pub at the Great House is exquisite, with an excellent menu full of character and taste -- great environment!
I cannot recommend this B&B more -- it is a very easy distance from Tunbridge Wells and less than an hour from Canterbury. An excellent stopping point in Kent, worth the trip in itself!

We stayed at Orchard Way for one night on our way to Cornwall, with a couple of friends, my spouse and our 12 month infant. I must say everything was perfect! We were warmly welcomed, the house is very nicely decorated, with comfortable bed, magnificient garden and perfect English breakfast! To be recommended!

I don't stay in B&Bs very often, but if the standard set by Sue and John is at all typical, then that will definitely change in the future. From the warmth of our welcome to the size, comfort and cleanliness of our room, to the amazing breakfasts with a fabulous fresh fruit salad and really good cooked dishes with eggs laid that morning from the hens in the orchard, everything was perfect. The close proximity of a very good gastropub was just the icing on an already delicious cake.

We spent a lovely two night visit in Sue and John's beautiful house. They were very welcoming hosts, friendly and helpful, they are also very knowledgeable about the local area.
As a family we occupied two rooms and shared a bathroom. All of the rooms were tastefully decorated and furnished, with comfortable beds and good quality linen. There were extras such as fresh flowers and a large range of teas, coffes and drinking chocolate. Our teenage son particularly appreciated the home made cookies.
Breakfast was wonderful, well cooked and again with extras such as homemade preserves and free range eggs from the resident chickens. The house is exceptionally clean and fragrant and the garden, which Sue and John are happy to share, is beautiful.
We could not find fault with Orchard Way and would return without hesitation.

Sue and John were very welcoming and friendly, even though we turned up hot and dusty after a long walk on the Sussex Border path. It was beautiful weather in late June, which meant the garden looked fantastic. Room was lovely - very comfortable and windows on three sides so plenty of light. Lovely fresh fruit salad with breakfast and eggs from the chickens (who are also friendly).
