Good little cafe. Nice location, good food, very reasonable prices. This place is always busy so say no more. We really enjoyed it for a stop off. You won't be disappointed.

“Great place to watch the water”
Reviewed 9 May 2014

Stopped off for a coffee and sat watching the lake. This is a beautiful site for a restaurant and it was clean and tidy. BUT, you have to order at the hidden counter and there may be a long wait to be served as one person does it all. Having said that, it is well worth a visit. A Cappuccino at £2.20 was a tad steep though.

“Lovely Location - Let Down by Tired Inside”
Reviewed 1 May 2014

Its set in a lovely location but let down once inside. We waited for about five minutes before realizing you had to order at the counter, not rocket science to have a sign up somewhere to indicate there was no waitress service. The counter was very small and there was only one person taking orders and money leading to customers waiting in queue.

We had a table adjacent to the open door of the kitchen and the floor was dirty with chips under one of the counters. The floor in the cafe itself was also very dirty with dirt under the tables.

All in all a beautiful location but needs somebody to put the place to rights and tidy up.

Went for tea and cake, was very busy so obviously popular. Lots of different homemade cakes and ours was delicious. Fantastic views and very good value. Will definitely be returning!
