“Afternoon Tea Review”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 June 2014

I brought my aged mother and we were warmly welcomed and with good eye contact throughout. Our needs were sensitively considered: the sandwiches specially cut for easy eating, the filings were tasty and generous, the cream was good, the music quiet, the atmosphere nice with the possibility of eating inside or out and with lovely views. All the baking is done on the premises and the cakes looked delicious. We will be returning.

Fabulous home cooked food....something for everyone...delicious. I went for lunch with my family and we all had something different. The homemade cakes need to be tried too....a lovely place for a Sunday brunch

“Great for breakfast, coffee or lunch!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 May 2014

My third visit today. On previous occassions had visited for lunch and coffee and cake but today decided to treat ourselves to Sunday breakfast out. Sat outside on the decking, enjoying the sunshine and the view. Quite a long wait for the food to arrive after the drinks were served but didn't mind as knew it was all being cooked fresh. My husband had the gourmet breakfast and I had bubble and squeak with eggs and bacon (wrongly thinking it would be a smaller dish - it could easily have served 2 people). Food was very well cooked and nicely presented. Just need to go back for afternoon tea sometime!

“Pleasant place, nice food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 May 2014

Lovely place to go for a nice and freshly cooked and tasty lunch. They also do afternoon tea, homemade cakes. The staff are very friendly and there are plenty of them. I imagine it can get quite busy but there is and outside decking area with a lovely view of the countryside.
We had our grandaughter with us and there were a couple of high chairs available
