Located about an hour outside Seoul (traffic pending), Caribean Bay provides a fun water park day for friends and family alike.

I was not overly excited when I was told this was the family weekend activity but had such a good time with the family that this will definitely be on the list for many future visits.

The park has a variety of slides and pools for all age groups. The food is what would be expected to be found at an amusement park.

Even on an overcast day the park was very busy. Prepare to rent and wear a life vest as this is traditional and mandatory to access parts of the pools. As well well cover up. It is common in Korea to wear a rash guard top (ie. Long sleeve shirt), this is not mandatory but you will truly stand out of you don’t.

Recommendations: Valet Parking, Q Pass, Cabana. To ease your arrival and departure research and secure valet parking. The Q pass provides a one time “jump the line” option to the hit slide. Safe an hour or two of standing in line on a busy day. Grab a few friends and rent a cabana. Locations are throughout the park, but provides a homebase for the kids to come running back to ....

We have better water parks in Korea - Ocean World, but it's too far to reach. But, Carribian Bay, is big enough with great exciting rides with great accibility. Great for all ages.

Relax, good location, close to Disney & Universal Studios. Prefer to choose room with swimming pool view. Kids love buying mug for unlimited refill of drinks.

Please read my whole review if you enjoy Waterparks! Absolutely DO NOT go during Mid or Low season! The waterpark is not as advertised. I am not joking when I say EVERY SLIDE IS CLOSED! (Except for a few small indoor slides which no one cares about) I repeat. Every slide is CLOSED. Only opening in the Peak season (June-August) yet they advertise as if the whole park is available. Look at the map of the park. They gate off everything except the indoor Aquatic Center and the wave pool. Everyone complains about the long lines during the peak season, BUT ATLEAST YOU HAD THE OPTION OF SLIDES!

This place is actually a joke. Its like being told youre going to Six Flags, then ending up at Great Wolf Lodge. Here are some positives.
+ The lazy River is a great one (if that is your thing)
+ the place is empty in the week during mid season.

Now the negatives
- Wave Pool. You HAVE to wear a life jacket. AND you have to pay for it. Not kidding. You cannot be trusted to swim for yourself. Also, have fun carrying your life jacket the rest of the day. Cause the big beach chairs they have, you have to RENT. They have a big yellow area in the middle of the pool where the waves break. You would think the most fun area right? NO cause they scream at you to get out of the best area of the pool while the life guards ride the wave having all the fun. Its maddening.
- Food is garbage. The burger stands are fine but the other restaurants like Madrid and Bahamas are trash. Just dont bother.
- They have a SWEET Indoor diving pool that is 5m deep (15 feet) and it has treasure at the bottom and a big open window for people underneith to view you dive. Except get this. CHILDREN ONLY?! I was in shock. Its literally called diving pool, and only children can jump in it. Makes absolutely no sense! I just wanted a photo of me diving. Btw, no one used it. Shocker.
- Did I say every slide is closed yet? Oh yeah.. EVERY. SLIDE. Its the next day and im still mad. The lines are ridiculously long in the summer so its a lose lose I guess. So unless you enjoy lazy rivers and a wave pool that stops all your fun with life jackets and a controlled area of where you are allowed to be, seriously avoide this place.
- The lifeguards. Theyre everywhere. Not the problem. Its like theyre actually told to stop people from having any fun. Are Koreans not good swimmers? Do they need people helping them every step of the way? Why are they so worried. Its a waterpark for god sake. From screaming at people in the wave pool. To questioning which ride youre going on when you go up the stairs. Man, Even on the one tube slide they have indoors (mediocre at best) they tell you not to get off the tube until he grabs you and pushed you onto the stairs at the side of the pool, where you get off awkwardly. Cause god forbid you get wet in the pool water.

What else can I say other than im upset that I wasted one of my 7days in Seoul on this place. I hate this place. Rename it no fun park and don’t go here.

Sincerely, and Canadian who missed out on fun at the water park.

The place is well taken care of , but every thing is expensive , U have to rent a vest for $6 and a chair for $16 .
It is a fun place but do not forget your sunscreen protection .
