“An absolute gem of a restaurant”
Reviewed 12 September 2011

I enjoyed a wonderful four course dinner with perfect wine pairings on a recent Sunday evening in September. From the warm greeting at the front door, the professional, but friendly, caring staff, the smart, elegant, comfortable room, the delicious food that seemed to have a satisfying surprise with every bit, to the small things the staff did to elevate the dining experience and the goodbyes at the end of the evening La Trinite over delivered every step of the way. I absolutely loved this restaurant.

“Passion for Excellence”
Reviewed 11 May 2011

In the heart of Sluis you will find this beautiful gem! It all starts with a warm hearted welcome of maitre de salle and owner, you get a warm handshake to welcome you at La Trinité. What a lovely way to make genuine contact with your customers.
We opted for the 8 course menu degustation, and we did not regret it. Chef uses new, funky ingredients, and manages to make every dish, from amuse gueule to the dessert a memorable experience for taste and senses. Food is modern in the sense it uses various textures and has a pleasant kind of "acidity".
The accompanying wines - a glass per dish - are carefully chosen and go extremely well with the food. Sommelier is young, but definately knows his trade.

Interesting extra: on a sunday evening the restaurant offers a 4 course menu at 55 euro, which makes it possible for everyone to enjoy this fantastic restaurant.
