We booked 11 nights at this apartment style condo villa. The good points: On arrival quite impressed with the facilities, swimming pool was great being well maintained on a daily basis. Lovely garden area with lemon and orange trees interspersed. Great views of the hills towards the Amalfi Coast, couldn't really see Vesuvius from the Villa grounds in its full glory though. Very spacious apartment and generally clean. Amalfi Coast is a must see, takes 30 minutess or so to get there by car and dodging the Italian drivers coming head on at you!
The bad points: We arrived at the villa to find it was not ready, cleaner still cleaning up, there was a lack of an extra cooking pan, WiFi didn't work for the first few days, which was rather annoying when we expected to do some trip planning in advance, this wasted and cost us valuable holiday time. Then builders arrived, why could this not have been planned before the holiday season? Noise and lack of privacy was the result, annoying when you want to have the pool to yourself, with the added Interruption to electrical power to the villa. One last important point, parking and access was not ideal, in fact I would say it was awful, more so when the builders arrived.
So summing up: If you want a holiday with the possible glitch here and there then go for it. Otherwise I would recommend a package holiday elsewhere with less stress and less expense, you'll also be able to avoid the local trash lining the streets too depending where you stay of course.
