Stopped there on February 16 between Samara and Montezuma.
Drove on the beach road, what a feeling! overwhelming for us North Americans. Stopped at the restaurant before I hit the dirt road. The restaurant is not a fancy place. Simple but clean, people were nice and smiling, the terrace and the view made the whole stop special. I had the mix sea food plate...and I tell you...for the money I paid ( a little over $5) it was heaven. Enormous platter, and it was very good not only very much. I thought i would never be able to eat that much, but I couldn't just stop. Delicious!
I also had a beer, really cold, not everywhere you can get a very cold beer in Costa Rica. It was one of best stopped for lunch during the 9 days spent in the South Costa Rica.
If you ever drive between Playa Manzanillo and Santa Teresa ( South Nicoya Peninsula) take the beach road and stop at this place for lunch an a drink. It will all worth the time spent!
