We have just returned from a 3-night stay and did not wish to leave. The farm is beautifully set in one of the most picturesque parts of the island with views that have to be seen to be believed. The surrounding fields were wildlife havens for hares as well as birds - some of which are the harder-to-see species.
On our arrival, we were met by Jayne with the warmest of welcomes we have ever had anywhere. A cup of tea and the best ever home-made sponge cake set the standard for what was to come. Our room was immaculately clean and had a range of 'extras' which included a small fridge for mineral water and fresh milk (a refreshing change from those little containers). Use of wi-fi and an alarm clock with an ipod/iphone dock was available for 21st century enthusiasts.
The breakfasts were excellent - you must try the fresh fruit salad to appreciate the very high standard achieved. Jayne also offers an evening meal which we had one evening and, again, we were not disappointed.
As with most B&Bs, the web site does not paint the full picture. If you want a quiet stay in beautiful countryside with perfect rooms and delightful, friendly hosts then this is the one for you. We cannot praise it highly enough and thoroughly recommend it.More
