This is a restaurant directly adjoining a horse riding arena and will suit horsey people but perhaps not others. I went with some friends to a Sunday carvery recently and we found the smell from the arena a bit off-putting, not helped by people coming straight into the restaurant while wearing the same clothes and boots they had just been riding in. The food was good enough though a little limited in variety and it's not a 'help yourself' style of carvery. However the major problem several of my party had was that the plates were not clean and contained remnants of food. They also were not impressed by having to walk along a muddy concrete path to reach the restaurant. I suppose it goes with the territory but the layout of the site is not ideal, especially for elderly people who may not be to wonderful on their feet anyway. It's early days so things might improve.
