Enjoyed our meal here in a traditional pub, and the food was good pub food, without being extra special .
My wife enjoyed lamb shank, with mashed potato, while I had Steak and Ale with chips (the kind with a flakey pastry hat) . Both were good meals, but there was nothing about them which made them stand out from any other competent pub's food, and I didn't experience the greatness that other reviewers have.
Well kept real ale.
You will need to reserve on Friday nights.
Service friendly and pleasant, and I would happily eat here again.
