We hired the Chapel for a months holiday, whilst we looked for a property to purchase. Owner very helpful and supportive. Two double beds available, not suitable for children, but an unusual and unexpected architect designed interior. Whilst there our family visited and were highly impressed. The village itself is scenic, with a lovely church, superb pub and Wing Hall for morning coffee or light meals. Would thoroughly recommend, which as it appears did all the previous visitors in the visitors book.

Excellent property, everything you could want is provided and a lovely peaceful location. The design is a very clever use of the space. The weather was cold so having the log burner really made a difference. Nothing negative to say. Would certainly recommend it to others.

Great romantic retreat, picturesque countryside setting, every need catered for. Loved the log fire, very cosy, really appreciated the little details, would recommend to anyone.

When we opened the door of the chapel, it was a real wow moment. The place was spotlessly clean and everything you could possible need had been thought of. The kitchen area is small but perfectly designed and well fitted out. The furnishings and linen are beautiful quality and the log burner makes it very cosy. The Kings Arms is a couple of minutes walk and serves very good food. It's probably best to book in advance, at least at the weekend. There are several walks from the village.

The Old Chapel's beautiful exterior hides a modern, well equipped & homely interior! We were particularly impressed with the cleanliness! Great pub at the top of the road & well located for Rutland water.

We booked the Chapel for a short break for my birthday. Very pleased with our choice.
The Chapel conversion has been done tastefully and a great use of the space.
Booking was very easy and the contact with the owner made it stress free.
Everything you might need is supplied including the Bedding and Towels.
The owners have spent a lot of time putting together information packs to help make your stay relaxing. The location is very quiet and central to lots of interesting places to visit.
The Kings Arms is a short walk from the Chapel serving great food and selection of
beers.
We would definitely recommend The Chapel and re-visit in the future.

Needing a one night stay at short notice, the proprieter, Colin, could not have been more helpful. All arranged inside 24 hours of arrival. Beautiful setting in the village. The photos show the property in a good light but cant show the true amount of space inside. Massive. All facilities listed, up and working and the electric heaters maintain a really nice atmosphere. Creative lighting for relazation. Only thing not tried was the log burner. It was wet and cold from the end of 'Barney' the storm, but with the thick walls, cosy inside. The road outside offers ample safe parking. The proprieter lives next door and with his wife are happy to recomend places of interest and a printed folder is also available in the property detailing the area and places to go. With the local 'old world' pub 100yds up the road, with no TV or music this is the place to go for peace and quiet. Only draw back for non walkers, you will need a car as recomended by he owner.
