So many things to see at The Ropewalk - the museum and a wide range of Arts and Crafts artists then a little walk too. Very good hour or so spent passing the time away whilst broadening your horizons.

Went yesterday for 6 icecreams at 3.50pm as they are open until 4pm. We was told they had stopped serving. We said we only wanted 6 icecreams to take away. Was then told they had cashed up! Should say close 3.50pm not 4pm! Don,t people want buisness nowadays!
Rubbish!

I visited the Ropewalk due to a recommendation from a friend and i couldn't fault it.
Staff were very friendly and attentive. The Craft Gallery is full of beautiful hand made pieces of jewellery, ceramics, cards and prints - All at a very reasonable price which made it even harder to purchase only a couple of things.
The Heritage Museum is set out lovely with information boards and books on how The Ropewalk used to be.
The coffee Shop was busy yet peaceful and the Menus were easy to choose from with a variety of meals for children and adults. I chose the Blue Cheese, pear and Walnut Panini (of the month) with a Cappuccino which made my visit all the worth while!
Service was very efficient and i was made to feel very welcomed.
I am already planning my next visit!

Something for everyone here. The art exhibitions are really good and change often. The café is excellent but a little expensive for some pockets i think. I would like it to open later in the evenings especially in the summer months, don't always want to go to a pub.
