“Excellent food”
Reviewed 25 August 2014

Recommended by a friend we decided to order takeaway rather than eat in. Excellent and varied menu choices and very helpful and knowledgeable staff when I made enquiries about some of the dishes. Huge portions. We will eat in next time. Simply delicious.

“More Indian than Nepalese”
Reviewed 24 August 2014 via mobile

Decided to try the place with friends who lived nearby. It was the first time for them too. The menu had most of the options you would find in any tandoori restaurant. Having been to another Nepalese restaurant I suggested they tried the momo. This was hugely disappointing and nothing like the ones I had before. We ordered chicken rogan josh and the grilled chicken. Only received the grilled chicken which we thought was the rogan josh as it was prepared the same.

The only highlight was a cauliflower dish which we were told was authentic and not on the menu. Other dishes were okay but not different from Indian restaurants.

The service was ok but they cleared our drinks before one of my friends finished his.

Our conclusion, it's okay and convenient for locals but nothing special and not very Nepalese or unique.

“Great place!”
Reviewed 3 August 2014 via mobile

Great place with authentic food - Takes a while as it cooks from scratch but great, clean tasting food. The staff ate great, authentic as well !! Great variety of dishes, ranging from mild plain meals to complex spicy ones, I'm sure anyone could find something to eat on the menu. As mentioned before, there are a lot of goat dishes as this is a staple of Nepal's cuisine, but this also makes it stand out from other eateries in the area.
