We decided to try the Dosa here as an alternative to our usual in Southall. The food takes a very very long time to reach the table. We waited nearly 45 minutes for a simple Dosa with only 2 other people in the store. When it did arrive, it was pretty good. We had some starters as well, but they weren't anything to jump on home about.

Due to the language barrier with waiting staff we had to ask for the same drink thrice.

The price was ok at £10 per person, however, I wouldn't return.

What we liked:
1. Friendly staff and person who seemed the owner was helpful
2. Part of the food we order was tasty (Amritsari Thali). Didn't try the Chaat items, but they might have been better

What we didn't like:
1. Food quality was inconsistent - The quantity and quality of items in their most deluxe Thali was poor. The paneer gravy tasted stale and reheated. The kulcha in the Amritsari Thali didn't taste like kulcha.
2. Though the waiting staff is friendly but lack basis restaurant etiquette, hygiene and language skills. Our breads were not cooked properly and we showed that to the person attending and he immediately picked it up with his hands to take a look and then kept it back asking us to start eating this one while he will get a fresh one. One of the waiting staff struggled to speak English and spoke Hindi with a strange accent. No one wears a uniform.
3. Less attentive to the order - we ordered breads without butter and we were given breads drenched in butter. By the time the correct order for breads arrived, the rest of the food was cold.

It felt like a mom & pop run Restaurant rather than a Bikanerwala.
