We have returned home from two nights stay at Bluebell Barn with out little jack russell Dexter. karen and mark are welcoming hosts and keep are very well run b&b, spotless throughout but homely and welcoming. this was Dexters first holiday and could not have chosen a better location for a dog. Lots to see and do locally, The three boars happily welcomed our dog when we dined there and only a short drive from Bluebell. Breakfast was well cooked and plentiful. We will definitely be returning in the summer to enjoy the garden while having a drink from the well stocked bar. Thanks Karen and Mark

We had a big birthday bash at neighbouring Church Farm Barn and used Bluebell Barn to put up 6 members of our family & 2 dogs, the barn was very well equipped, clean & tidy, my family thoroughly enjoyed their stay and apparently the eggs benedict was out of this world!

Second visit for us and our dog. The first visit two years ago was exceptional and this trip was every bit as good. The perfect hosts and perfect location. Mark & Karen are exceptional hosts, very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The beautiful location is away from the madding crowd yet ideal for exploring any part of Norfolk, being around an hours easy drive from most corners of the county. The reasonably priced accommodation is self contained in beautiful barn buildings converted to a very high standard and well serviced every day. Inclusive breakfast is served in the main hall of the house and has a wide ranging menu cooked perfectly and to order. There is ample parking and very good on site facilities with a special welcome and provisions for canine guests. To top it off after an evening meal at one of the local pubs a short drive away (also dog friendly) you can relax in Bluebell Barns on site licensed bar and enjoy a glass or two before bedtime. Warm and cosy in winter and plenty of room to sit out and enjoy the summer sun. We will be back again for sure!

I booked a room for the night last minute as I was visiting friends in nearby Attleborough for their son's christening so just wanted something close by and basic - I got so much more. What a fantastic place to stop and at at such a reasonable price too. The room was spotlessly clean, en suite and had all mod cons. The owners were also very friendly and had gone that extra step to make you feel welcome - I especially loved the home-made flapjacks in the room, delicious! The breakfast was equally delicious and I would have absolutely no reservations in recommending this place to any of my friends. I hope to return here the next time I'm down in Norfolk.

What a lovely place to stay. From the moment I arrived I was made to feel really welcome. The whole place is spotlessly clean and is exceptionally comfortable. The breakfast is better than any I have ever experienced and, I travel a lot, all ingredients are locally sourced and it shows. I cannot recommend highly enough.

We (including our dog Bailey) have just returned from a great 3 days at the barn. It is difficult to describe what a special place this is, from the warm welcome on arrival to the consistent care and attention to detail in all areas. The whole place is spotlessly clean, light and airy with fantastic bed linen and a great shower. Karen and Mark were so very helpful about places to eat with our dog and walks to take him on. They really do go the extra mile in a lovely place with peaceful and very quiet surroundings. Breakfast is to die for! as are Karen's homemade biscuits. We will definatly return to this gem. Our room itself was beautifully decorated, and there was even a dog bed and blanket for the dog. We were both very impressed, well done!

We stayed in "The Suite" at Karen and Marks Bluebell Barn. We were made to feel really welcome from the moment we arrived. We were shown around the main breakfast area in the barn, and then led across to our Suite across the driveway. Our room was lovely, very clean , with little touches such as lovely toiletries, fluffy towels, robes and slippers. And the breakfast is fabulous !! I like that all the guests sit together , it may not suit everyone, but you get to find out what others recommend, and talk about where you might like to go and visit. Highly recommend a stay here, and we will be back :-)
