We stayed one night here in order to visit the spectacular Christmas Show at Thursford . We were a party of 3 pensioner couples on a bus load from Hull with Marion Owen Travel. We were impressed with the look of the hotel, both outside and in the public rooms. All of our rooms ( ground floor 'garden rooms' were spacious and well equipped with large flat screen tv , tea/coffee making equipment and trouser press as well as big comfy bed and modern bathroom. The bar and dining rooms were very attractive and the dinner and following buffet breakfast both very good. All the staff we met were pleasant and helpful.

Room Tip: The ground floor 'garden rooms' are very spacious. Some are family rooms with a double and t...

We visited the hotel for a meal whilst staying in Cromer. Everything from the atmosphere, food and service just cannot be faulted! We had the pâté and terrine to start with which were both extremely tasty. We both had the venison casserole with dumplings, wow! The meat was so tender and fell apart, the veg cooked to perfection and absolutely a taste sensation! We did manage to squeeze dessert in too, the sticky date pud was a hit with hubby, so light and fluffy, not a bit of stodge in sight! My hazelnut and dark choc pudding was like heaven on a plate! We have eaten in here a number of times and the food has always been excellent. The service is always attentive without being intrusive. 30/10 amazing experience again. Thank you all so much

We only had a one night stay but were welcomed by friendly and very helpful staff. During our stay the staff provided excellent service and never gave the impression of anything being too much trouble.
Although one of two coach parties in the hotel that night with one sitting for dinner the food and service was on a par with dining independently. Choice of meal, well cooked and efficiently provided. Breakfast was not your typical buffet; although not table served waiters did fill up plates with what you wanted.
Room was clean and tidy but the bathroom was a little tired and cold. This was due to being in the Garden Wing which is not part of the main building and was more motel style. OK in the summer but avoid this wing in the winter if you don't want to step out into the cold to get to the main hotel part.

Room Tip: Avoid the Garden Wing in the winter.

I booked the winter saver deal for our family of 4 for 2 nights. It included an interconnecting room, breakfast, dinner and use of the pool. The reception, bar and restaurant are really well decorated. There are some nice comfy places to sit in the bar area - we took scrabble with us. The restaurant food was lovely but we thought let down by the laminated paper menu (needs an upgrade!). The pool area was good - the changing rooms we're ok. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was a little rough round the edges. My children would like to see hot chocolate (cadburys) sachets in the room as the hot chocolate from the bar was watery! The beach is a short walk away. There is a shop in the village. A short drive from Cromer.
A lovely place to stay, good value, good location and very friendly staff. We'll be back!

Traveled up to watch the Cromer Tennis Tournament an managed to get a room for one night at this Hotel. It is obviously popular with Golfers as the course is I am told a challenge! The hotel's heyday was obviously in the 1920's/30's but to be fair many of the hotels in Norfolk of this type are rather "quaint" and reflective of the past. Although I am not saying that disrespectfully, many still like this older charm.

The Hotel Bar and Restaurant areas were really dark although I did not use the Restaurant for dinner.

The room was rather small and the decor a little dated as was the bathroom. The linen however was clean and crisp and the room felt nice and fresh. The journey to and from the room to reception was a bit complex and I can't help thinking the decor in the halls and stairs agin made the place look ancient.

Breakfast was good but nothing special and again reminiscent of a typical older British Seaside Hotel.

The Staff we very helpful and I will deffo use this Hotel again if I need to stay in this part of Norfolk overnight although I wouldn't stay here for a family holiday or any "extended" break. Golf or B&B excellent!

We stayed at the links for a weekend chill break. On arrival we were welcomed by a really friendly receptionist. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was large with a huge bed. Bit disappointed that this was two singles fixed together with separate mattresses and single quilts. Very comfy though. Large bathroom with a very large shower area.
Drinks in the bar served by two trainees who were great. Breakfast was a served buffet and really good.
Dinner in the restaurant was very good with a varied menu. Decent wine list too.
Overall, a bit expensive for the quality of the room but I would stay again as the location is just superb.
