We stayed hear just for one night on an impulse visit to Cromer and it was really nice, the rooms were a a good size and really nicely appointed. The bathrooms exceptionally clean, with good quality fittings. We are looking forward to staying again

Booked Mill House based on all of the wonderful reviews and I can only say everything written is true. We were given a warm welcome from Denise, who gave us a quick tour of the lounge/ breakfast room and our beautiful bedroom. Denise's home is absolutely stunning with so many beautiful things to make this a very special home. Our room was cosy, warm and spotlessly clean with some lovely personal touches. Breakfast was great and set us up for the 2 days we spent there.
We did not eat in Overstrand but did drive up to Mundesley where we had a wonderful meal at the Ship Inn.
If you are thinking of spending some time in Norfolk please stay at Mill House, we will certainly be returning

Room Tip: Mill House only has 2 rooms and I'm sure they are both equally lovely (we had the room with the...

We have just returned from a lovely break in North Norfolk and stayed at Mill House for Friday and Saturday night. Everything was absolutely perfect. The house itself is beautiful with lots of original features. The large room we stayed in looked like it had just been decorated, everything was fresh and spotlessly clean with tasteful furnishings and thoughtful touches like free wi-fi, biscuits, chocolates and fresh flowers. The bed is extremely comfortable and the bathroom spacious with a very large shower. The full English breakfast is freshly cooked and delicious and is served in the attractive lounge/dining room which is available for guests to use throughout their stay. The location of Mill House was excellent, on the main road between Cromer and Mundesley. Walk out of the gate and turn right and then right again and you are heading down the road to the beach. Cromer is an easy walk along the beach for about a mile and a half, maybe two (where there are welcome cafe stops after the bracing February weather) or alternatively, the other direction is Mundesley village - I believe there are pubs here. If you walk further along the main road from Mill House and turn right to go into Overstrand village itself, you will find a pub - The White Horse and a village shop and a hotel with restaurant - The Sea Marge. We didn't try the restaurant, but did visit the White Horse. It's got good reviews, but I think we may have chosen unwisely, we found our meals too salty. However, we did visit The Vernon Arms in South Repps village the following evening and had an excellent meal. I really recommend Mill House for a relaxing break in a lovely part of the World. We visited Sheringham and Holt further along the coast and recommend both for a browse.

Just a complete joy from start to finish of our 3 night stay. Beautiful house, excellent furnishings, spotlessly clean, comfortable and just wonderful. Breakfasts were superb, lovely FRESH fruit, plenty of choice and superbly cooked. Every other review is absolutely correct, Denise's home is just such a lovely lovely place to 'throw away your batteries' for a few days and just relax. We enjoyed it so much, we are returning in May and again in Jan 2015! And we are already counting down the days!!!!!

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights. The house is lovely, tastefully furnished and decorated plus spotlessly clean. The bedroom was very comfortable and we slept well. There is a TV in the room, and I was pleased to be able to connect to the wi-fi. The en-suite shower is perfect, plenty big enough even for someone of my size. The breakfast was also very good, Denise cooks a fine full English.
During our stay we took a walk to the The White Horse. Be warned, if you venture there take a torch as it's pitch black walking back at night. Also, avoid the Pinot Grigio as it possibly rates as one of the worst wines I've ever tasted.
Our stay was most enjoyable and I'll certainly recommend to friends.

My wife and I spent two nights in Denise's beautiful house. Her attention to detail is exceptional and she keeps the cleanest house imaginable. Fresh flowers in bedroom and bathroom, home made biscuits, a chocolate, bottled water - all await the visitor. And the sumptuous and spacious room we stayed in overlooked the front of the property and it's lovely gardens. Breakfast was delicious! There are just two guest rooms making the place a home from home. A short walk around the corner to Overstrand beach and a 5 minute drive to Cromer. Great location and a warm welcome.

Room Tip: The front bedroom overlooking the garden.

Myself and my wife had a fantastic stay for 3 nights. We had a lovely welcome by Denise who keeps the house spotless. The room we had was lovely and clean. Touches like chocolates and fresh flowers in the room made the room lovely. The bed was sooooo comfortable. The on-suite bathroom was lovely with great shower area. The breakfast was superb with well cooked food and great choice. The Mill house is in a nice quiet setting and close to the middle of Overstrand. Also close enough to walk to the Founders Arms in Northrepps through pathways to get nice Woodfordes beers and good meals. Mill house provided us a great base to visit the area. Mill house was a fantastic find and thoroughly recommended!
