Stayed here for two nights with our two young children on the way to the ferry - was very enjoyable with no hassle. Large family room with plenty of space in an annex across the road from the pub with a parking space outside and an enclosed shared garden at the rear - so ideal for the kids to run around a bit. Room was clean apart from a little mould in the bathroom - although not serious. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, staff were very friendly and service was good. We also had an evening meal in the pub which again was very nice. I would say though that it is on the expensive side, £110 for a family room with breakfast on top making it up up to about £130 per night - there are cheaper alternatives and corrages to rent around.

I Stay at this little bolt hole on quite a regular basis when visiting family or on business in Kent, invariably I arrive late after a busy day, but they are always welcoming, the kitchen still manages to rustle up a bite to eat and our rooms are always clean and ready.

Good quality accommodation be it for a night or a week, good location, I use it when visiting Canterbury , But if I had more time it would be a great base to explore the countryside

All in all a very good Inn

The village of Chilham in the North Downs is the star attraction. The pub is ok, with standard shepherd neame beers and a reasonably extensive food menu, but the food and beer aren't cheap and the portions on our first meal were on the small side. The bar food seemed better value.
We stayed in an outside annex which was good as we'd asked to move out of the main building in case it became noisy. The staff were very accommodating and made the switch without fuss. The room was fairly basic, but quite adequate if smelling a little musty. The buildings are old and creaky though. If I went again, I'd ask for an upstairs room.

As a small group of 3 we stayed here for one night at the start of a road trip. Unfortunately we turned up a lot later than expected, but the staff were very welcoming and friendly and even made us some food at the very late hour when clearly the kitchen was shut. We were in one of the rooms external from the building which were very clean and tidy, if a little noisy being able to hear every movement of the person above. But this didn’t cause a problem. Breakfast was lovely, and we got a wave off as we left, all in all a nice stay and would happily recommend.

Stayed here on Saturday, arrived at midday for a wedding in the local area. Informed by the Landlady check in was from 3pm to 10pm without raising her eyes from the till. When we said the wedding was at 2.30pm and was there a chance of checking in early and perhaps a room might be available to change in with our 3 month old baby, she again repeated check in was from 3pm to 10pm without looking up again. Very rude and never been treated like that in any hotel/pub/b&b. Her aggressive tone of voice was completely unacceptable. All the other staff members were really friendly and we felt sorry for them. Our friend was booked in for the Friday night but could not stay at the last minute as his wife was taken into hospital, however she still charged him the price of the room. Will never stay here again.

Room Tip: Stayed in room 17, large good sized family room, TV does not work!

Kent offers something special, and I'm already a fan of years of this region
Unfortunately the Woolack Inn I have experienced the worst experiences. Very unfriendly reception especially the owner. Very Humid room, bad smell, dirty bathroom tiles.. A big moisy dog ont the room above my room. Restaurant - long waits especially in the morning during the breakfest. Not good service I must ask for the reffilling of coffee, milk, pastries, juice - 17 people were in the restaurant waiting

Be very careful if you have booked a room at this B & B as we were informed the evening before our stay that they could not rent our room out to us because it had been flooded. We were informed that this was not the truth and that in fact they had overbooked and are often doing this to people. They did however get us another room in a B & B close by but were not happy about this as we are married and ended up in a twin room with no en suite. So even though you have a confirmation please be very careful that you do not get stitched up like we did. On the plus side Chilham village is beautiful and worth a visit.

Room Tip: cant comment as we didn't even get the chance to stay there
