Stayed here for one night visiting Cantebury. Our room was clean and comfortable with good facilities. We had a bar meal on the evening which was good well prepared food. The bedrooms are detached from the pub so there were no noise issues and we both slept very well. Breakfast was also very good well prepared and tasty food. All in all I would recommend this hotel the staff were courteous and efficient.

We stayed here for a wedding we where attending. The bed was very clean and comfortable. The room was perfectly clean .Their where tea making facilities which is always nice to see. The breakfast was freshly cooked and enjoyable. We will return.

Room Tip: All of the rooms are at the back of the car park which is very quiet. Good views over the fields.

We stayed at the Evenhill over our wedding period and so did our family and friends on the day of our wedding. The Evenhill couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome and we all enjoyed our stay. The staff and management at the Evenhill went the extra mile to make sure that our stay was perfect. The breakfast was very good and the rooms were spacious, quiet and comfortable, with everything you need in it. Sadly we didn't get time to eat at the restaurant, but have done so before and it was very good. We will certainly be returning to this lovely village B&B.

Room Tip: We had room 15 and we were very happy with it's size and the shower was lovely.

We spent 2 nights here and it was ideal for our trip. Room was clean & had everything we needed. Breakfast was good too. The rooms were at the back of the car park and it was quiet.
We hoped to eat here on our first evening and even though we'd been looking at the menu for a while, the bar staff didn't tell us that it was full. They suggested we waited half an hour & asked again but thought it would still be full. We walked down to the main village but nothing else available. Ended up getting in the car & found a good place.

We stayed for the Saturday night after a family wedding. They were very willing to let us have an early check in to change for the wedding. The fabric of the hotel is a trifle tired but the bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was very good, freshly cooked. The staff were very friendly and service was good. Hotel was very reasonably priced.

Room Tip: Good value. good service.

We were a group of friends (4 couples) and we stayed at this hotel one night (18 july 2013).
We really enjoyed this hotel, rooms are very nice and clean, the breakfast was excellent and the staff was very very friendly.
Of course you need a car to reach this hotel from Canterbury
The hotel has also a pub along the road (where is located the reception), and this is very, very english style!
If you are looking for an english style place to stay, this is!

We stayed at this lovely Inn/Hotel whilst visiting Canterbury to attend our son's Graduation at the nearby University. From the moment we arrived all of the staff were so friendly and helpfull. We had lunch, booked in early and later were helped to get a taxi to take us into Canterbury.

Lunch was excellent - the Ploughmans was enough for two!

The room was absolutley spotless. My wife always checks the bathroom for cleanliness and gave it 10 out of 10. The little extras like the complimentary toiletries were a nice touch. The room was spacious and very comfortable, with a trouser press and iron/ironing board.

Breakfast was excellent. A good selection of cereals, fruit juices; an endless supply of coffee available to serve yourself, topped off by a top class full english!

Next time we are in Canterbury I won't bother looking elsewhere, I will just book straight in to the Evenhill. Thanks for making our stay so welcoming.
