Description: Important: to avoid disappointment, please call ahead to reserve your moorings / dining table. We are a pub offering great traditional pub food... not a fine dining restaurant and we do not offer table service. Thank you! 2015 Winner of 'Best Food', 'Best Moorings', 'Most Improved Business' on The Broads. The New Inn is a traditional family pub located in the idyllic village of Horning on the Rive Bure, set in the heart of the Norfolk Broads. Since June 2014 The New Inn has been under new ownership with the owners and management team placing an emphasis on utilising Norfolk's finest produce whilst continuing to offer great value for money. The pub has a warm friendly atmosphere and prides itself on serving traditional locally sourced food, high quality Cask ales and fine wines. The New Inn has a spacious riverside garden that includes a covered patio and heated decking area, both are ideal for spending time relaxing by the river and watching the world go by. We have ample free mooring for day boats in our basin and for overnight boats on our quay heading, as well as a car park alongside if you are travelling by vehicle. For those of you who looking for entertainment, we have an outdoor amusements area for the children, air hockey and pool tables, plus quiz nights are held each week on Fridays. We also regularly host live music on Saturdays (please see our upcoming events). Dogs are not allowed inside of the pub (excluding guide dogs), however, well-behaved dogs are welcome on the heated decking and garden areas providing they are on a lead. Polite reminder: The New Inn has become increasingly popular, therefore, please remember to book in advance if you wish to reserve a boat mooring or to dine with us. We close the kitchen between 4pm and 5pm to prepare for the evening service.

Just spent a few days in Horning, and came across this wonderful place. The staff couldn't have been friendlier, and made us feel totally at home as temporary locals.

The Sunday lunch we had was up there with the very best, and we will certainly be looking forward to coming back.

Thank you all
Julie & Steve

During a weeks long stay (November) in Horning, we visited the New Inn on several occasions. Some nights drinking others for food and drink. The food is fresh and good quality, book your table for food to make sure you eat when you want to, the beers are well kept. The young staff, in particular Ryan and Mel, put up with Essex banter with a smile all week....sorry! It's a great pub and will always go back. The Friday night quiz is good fun, starts at 21:00.

Been in Horning for the past week and had lunch at The New Inn nearly every day. Relaxed and cosy atmosphere with helpful and friendly staff. Food is fab and we have tried most of the lunchtime menu. The outside area is a credit to Gus who keeps it looking tip top. We will be back next time we are here.

This pub is a lovely place, situated perfectly on the Broads. A short drive away from the busier Wroxham, this place offer plenty of seating and even has it's own mini amusement arcades located at the rear to keep the kids happy.

The staff are polite and accommodating, and the venue has a nice chilled out atmosphere to it. The food itself is locally sourced and home-cooked, with generous portion sizes. There is a wide range from chicken, to fish dishes, to burgers, to breakfast baps and refreshing salads. It really does cater for most.

One tip, if you're looking to go at peak time, get there early as the car park isn't huge, although there is pay and display on the corner, as you come into Horning.

All in all, a lovely summer venue for a drink and some Norfolk nosh.
