We've been visiting this tea room and shop ever since it opened many years ago and it's never let us down. The owners passion for her scrumptious offerings as if it were still her first year of trading, clearly working very hard to ensure every visitor leaves delighted. It's a true deli in every sense of the word, lots of fresh and in some cases still warm cooked goods, in addition to chilled and shelved yummies, nicnacs and gifts. If you've never visited, try to avoid a peak busy time so you have time to peruse all that is on offer. The cafe is small with only a handfull of tables, one cute one set in a nook of a bay window. There is a good range of items on the menu including fresh daily soup, sandwiches and meals or you can simply enjoy something (or several things, temptation rules here) from the deli counter. I love the way they use pretty china and cute table wear to make your visit extra special and different. The detail and care really makes it stand head and shoulders above it's competition. The service is excellent too, with nothing too much trouble and any issues quickly and pleasantly resolved.
I love the deli so much no visit to the area is complete without popping in. Top tip: if your on holiday, bring a cool box so you can take a few of those goodies home, extending the delights of Horning for that little bit longer.
