This was my third visit to Swan Inn. This time I had taken my nieces and nephews for lunch so it was a lively group. The cosy interiors are great on a nippy day but they have outside seating too for warm weather. Situated on the River Ant, the Swan Inn is a picturesque place to dine out. The food is always fantastic though the service was slow the day we were there- it was very busy so maybe that could be excused? I have only eaten here so no idea about the accommodations.

What a comparison. My wife & I were looking for some food in Horning this evening. Our first stop was at the New Inn where we were made to feel most unwelcome and were told food wasn't served until 5:30pm and we would have to book even though we stood in the pub. Had one quick drink here then moved up the Swan Inn where the friendly staff made us feel welcome right away. we were quickly seated in a cosy corner and the waiter Keith produced some mouth watering menus.
The food soon arrived and was excellent. Top marks for quantity and quality here thanks again to Keith and the rest of the staff for looking after us so well.
We will be sure to return to the Swan and look forward to staying in this establishment.

after a hectic few days doing the University thing with our son we booked in late to this wonderfully located Inn keepers lodge.
I felt all the stresses of the previous few days drift away, as I sat on the patio in the rain watching the rain and the lights on the water. A warm coffee in my hand We reluctantly went to our spacious room Filby located to the side of the Hotel overlooking a green area to the side of the broad and the moored boats.
The room was clean and airy and well furnished, and coffee etc provided as well as shower gels etc
Free car parking
The breakfast was self service continental overlooking the water in its own balcony area, You could order at additional charge a full English in the bar area.

If only we had stayed here for the last few days i would have been so much more relaxed, the atmosphere on the patio was wonderful all the following morning. we tore ourselves away around mid day for our trek home
Would recommend and go again ourselves

Room Tip: request river views if you want one
