Stayed for the New Year week and thoroughly enjoyed the facilities provided. Cottages are often run by owners who seem to take a perverse delight in providing the bare minimum of just about anything for their guests.
Sunnybeck's owner greeted us on arrival, ran through the cottage facilities, communicated really well before our arrival and generally was extremely helpful.
The Wi Fi was rock solid, the beds comfortable and the kitchen well equipped.
Wonderful warm welcome from Carol the owner to Sunnybeck cottage, as many other reviews say this is a fantastic place, spotless and well equipped, feels like home. You always wonder when you look at photos if the place is the same in reality, this one certainly is. The cottage is in a quiet location in an equally quiet village, not much here but perfect that's what we wanted to get away from it all. we spent most evenings in the cosy lounge in the cottage, daytimes out walking, many to do from the cottage - others you may want to drive - plenty of places can be reached under 30 minutes. If you want more to do and see you can walk to Settle in around 5-10 minutes, some lovely pubs and cafes and shops and supermarket. Would highly recommend booking here.
A beautiful modern and cosy cottage with everything you need, even our 2 little dogs felt at home.
Great location to discover the Yorkshire Dales.
Will be back again but for longer next time, loved every minute of our little getaway.
For walking and eating in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, you can't beat Settle as a base and this cottage as a location.

This cottage is just perfect in every way, we only stayed here for 3 nights but we felt completely at home! It is in a great location, just a couple of minutes walk to the nearest pub in Giggleswick and 10 minutes walk to Settle, with lovely views from the upstairs windows.
The kitchen is very well equipped, there is everything there that you could possibly need - even a dishwasher! This was a big bonus in my eyes as I really hate having to do the washing up when I'm on holiday. The living room was comfortable and cosy. Upstairs, the bed was really comfortable with good quality bedding and pillows and the shower was fantastic, good water pressure and temperature. There were some really nice touches in the decor, I particularly loved the chandeliers, which were all similar and yet unique in each room. We were travelling with our 2 dogs and even their needs were anticipated, bowls and towels provided especially for them!
Quite often when we go away we stay at B&Bs and we usually spend our evenings in the pub.... we did out 1 night while we were here but the other 2 evenings we were quite content to stay in - having been out climbing and hiking all day, it actually made a nice change to have an environment that we could relax in. I am sure that we will be returning to Sunnybeck, we were lucky to get in at such short notice - next time I will make sure I book further in advance!
We really enjoyed our week at Sunnybeck - a stylish, spacious, comfortable and well-equipped cottage with a charming garden. Carol was welcoming and helpful throughout with a generous and professional approach which we really appreciated.
Giggleswick and Settle are both delightful and we found many great things to do in Dales (caving was particularly memorable). The property is extremely well set up for dogs. Our cockerpoo absolutely loved the huge neighbouring field.
My wife and I spent a week at Sunnybeck in July and both of us absolutely loved it. The cottage is really nice and there's plenty of room. The amenities are all excellent – particularly loved the power-shower. Comfy beds, nice bathrooms (the en-suite is excellent), huge kitchen with a lovely tiled floor, nice lounge. I cannot recommend this cottage highly enough. Plus, it's only a five minute walk into the middle of Settle, which is a fantastic (and beautiful) little village with plenty of restaurants, pubs, coffee shops, supermarkets, etc.
All in all, a great cottage in a terrific location. Would return in a heartbeat.
