Wow, what a fabulous place to stay! There were 9 in our group & Nick Young, who has only been there such a short time made us so welcome...the food & drinks were delicious, the rooms cosy & comfortable...& his renovations looked fabulous. Thank you so very much for your hospitality Nick, and for carrying my heavy bag to & from the coach....I hope I get the chance to return one day.

Room Tip: Rooms where all quiet, roomy and heated.

Cannot rate highly enough. We stayed here as part of the Way of the Roses cycle route. As per other reviews, Nick was a brilliant host and extremely helpful, nothing was any trouble and he took the time and trouble to ensure everyone was catered for. Food and Beer was excellent, alongwith the accommodation. Thank you very much!

We decided to go to The Craven Arms for a meal after reading the Trip Advisor reviews. We went after a long walk in Settle & called in on the way back. The place is newly decorated & very clean. Our meals were very tasty & great value for money, I would recommend the salt beef wellington. The prices are extremely reasonable as well considering the high quality of the food. The manager came over for a chat & he really makes an effort with the customers which is great. Next time I hope to stay over. Look forward to visiting again.

We Stayed here after cancelling another hotel in Settle, what a smart move, Food is excellent, rooms are nicely decorated and the staff are willing to help. The bedroom had a very very kingsize bed and although the railway line and the A65 are close by there is no noise in the room. The owners are very helpful and advised on places to go and the restaurant staff in the morning is friendly.

We stumbled on this place by accident while staying locally but we are so glad we did.
The bar and restaurant are well decorated and furnished and look very cozy. They serve ales from the brewery less than a mile away which is good to see and they pride themselves quite rightly in serving local food.
Staff were all very personable and friendly, the waitresses were attentive
You can see into the kitchens and it all looks clean and modern.
Toilets were spotless and new which is always a good sign.
The food was delicious, well presented, imaginative and a fantastic price for the high quality
Worth booking ahead at the weekends and we would definately go back when we are next in the area!

Staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcome, the room was very clean and quiet.

We took part in the 3 peaks challenge, this is an ideal location as the start was only 15 mins away.

Food was very nice, loved it. And the fudge that came with the coffee, made I believe by a mum of the staff, was to die for, we wanted to buy the lot, amazing.

Thanks to everyone for making this a great weekend for us.

Stayed early July 2013.

We met some friends and their baby there for lunch this Sunday. Food was great and staff were really friendly. They were a little understaffed so service was slow and we had to ask twice a few times. Having said that the owner came over when we sat down to explain that it was much busier than he had expected and so he only had one waitress on. Obviously good service would have been better but it was well handled and didn't affect our enjoyment. Food was really delicious. Real gourmet pub fare. It was also very reasonable priced. We all thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely be back.
