We stayed here for 3 nights at the beginning of June and had a wonderful time. The hut was perfectly kitted out with absolutely everything we could need for a lovely 'glamping' experience. In fact it was quite a little tardis. The setting was perfect and we were lucky with the weather. The 2 kunekune pigs provided us with endless entertainment as they pottered around the field. We were lucky to find the Himalayan garden and Sculpture Park about a mile along the lane was still open and managed to spend a morning there. Hackfall woods was close by and provided us with lovely walks and stunning views. Thanks to Lynda and Nick for being wonderful hosts, we are hoping to return in the future.

We stayed at the Quarry House Shepherd's Retreat over the Easter Weekend, and had nothing less than a perfect stay. Lynda had thought of absolutely everything that you would need or want during your stay, and the extra touches just made the stay more special. (We particularly enjoyed the Lindt bunnies and the use of a portable DVD player and the Vicar of Dibley box set!) The hut was so cosy, the bedding and accessories were luxurious, and the beautiful view over the fields made it even more relaxing. The location of the hut is brilliant, a short drive to beautiful Masham where we sampled some excellent ales on the Black Sheep Brewery tour. We were also able to visit Ripon, Brimham Rocks, How Stean Gorge and Aysgarth Falls over the course of the weekend. Fantastic location, fantastic accommodation and fantastic host. Thank you so much Lynda, can't wait to return!

I have been wanting to stay in a shepherd's hut for more than a year now and I can't believe my partner has found such a fabulous one to stay on my birthday!!! It has everything one can need. The owner has really thought of EVERYTHING!!!The weather wasn't good (the wind was extremely high) but we still enjoyed the stay and the cosyness :) I was very much surprised to find such a spacious shower in it! I honestly love it and will probably try to go there again. I definitely agree that it is the Hilton of Huts!!!!

I can only repeat what other's have said. Perfect in every way. Fantastic location, friendly owners, fabulous area.
All you need or could want is provided to make your stay perfect. Everything is of the most superb quality and spotless. Lovely ensuit with a super shower. If you need to wind down then this is the place.

We loved our stay here. Spotless, beautifully decorated and it had lots of little touches which made our weekend extra special.

Using the word "hut" seems to do it an injustice.
It is just super,it is spotless everything has been thought of inside to make your stay enjoyable.
The shower is very very good.
The quality from the towels to cutlery is 1st class,the towels smell divine.
The setting I do not think you can beat,you can watch the antics of the pigs for hours.
