“Fantastic weekend”
Reviewed 7 December 2014 for a stay in December 2014

We have just returned from the coach house at Lynnholm after a fantastic weekend in a lovely cottage. Graham the owner is a lovely man who gives you a very warm welcome. The cottage is very well equipped you need to bring nothing apart from you, your clothes, food and drink Graham has thought of everything, lots of information is available for the surrounding areas as well. Thank you once again Graham for the wine, chocolates and flowers they were very much appreciated. Our dog Dexter came with us and had a great time running round the enclosed garden. Would we return - that is a definate. If you want to get away from everything in a beautiful cottage in beautiful quiet surroundings the Coach house is a must.

“Well Equpped Romantic Bijou Bolthole With Stunning Views”
Reviewed 20 October 2014 for a stay in October 2014

Myself, hubby and 2 dogs arrived on a Friday to a very warm welcome from Graham, personally escorted us to the cottage, which was fantastically well equipped. Very comfy bed, stunning views and very peaceful location with good walks from the door. The wine, chocs and flowers were gratefully accepted and appreciated. Spent the day in nearby Rothbury (my place of birth) bought some award winning sausages from the butchers, had a picnic lunch down by the river (unusually warm weather for time of year), then visited family who still lives in the village. Our two Bichon's loved the garden and had a few mad half hours chasing each other. Found the rooks at dusk very atmospheric and took some great video footage. I can thoroughly recommend this lovely property and hope to re-visit in the future.

“Everything you could wish for, in tranquil setting with amazing views & dog friendly!”

Had a fabulous time even though the weather was hit and miss but even staying in was enjoyable with the fantastic views straight out of the windows across to the Cheviot Hills and countryside.
Garden brilliant and very dog friendly as it is all enclosed, lots of room for our boisterous Staffie to play plus many walks nearby including straight out onto the moors and also down to the river in nearby Rothbury. So much to do but so little time to fit it all in!
Hopefully we will get booked up again but for a longer spell so we can enjoy more days out, explore further and come home to have barbys out on the deck.
Thanks to Graham & Jackie for a nice welcome, the flowers, chocolates and wine were very thoughtful.
The place itself is very well thought out and nice and cosy with all mod cons. We needn't have taken so much stuff with us as most of it was provided, handy to know for next time when packing.
All in all a very relaxing break, didn't want to leave!

Perfect holiday cottage with everything you could want and a lovely garden for the dog. Wonderful views from windows and patios and great walks straight from the door. Only down side, both pubs a good walk and uphill on homeward journey.

We had an excellent time staying at the Coach House and were lucky enough to have incredible weather so spent all out time on the lovely decking overlooking stunning views of the hills and cooking outside. Graham and jackie who own the property could not have been more generous...even allowing us to thumb a lift with them into alnwick so we could have a night out. A really lovely hideaway in beautiful surroundings.
