Food was very good (including the desserts). Atmosphere nice and the rooms nice and warm. We all (3 females) enjoyed it very much.

The Barbeqed red Salmon served with rice and local vetagables was lovely. At this lodge they also serve some excellent coffee.

We stopped here for dinner based on a suggestion from our trekking guide. My husband ordered the halibut and I had the salmon...both were prepared to perfection and the service was good (even though there was only one server). Although we were full from dinner, we could not pass up the homemade desserts....very delicious!!

Salmon special was perfect and my husband loved his chicken dish. Alaskan beer - what more do you need?

We had a very nice experience at Sheep Mountain Lodge. We were on the Glenn Hwy headed from Kennecott to Palmer. Our Wrangel Air pilot recommended the place and we were very pleased with our late lunch. I had Hungarian mushroom soup and my husband had the beef chili. Both came with a HUGE sourdough roll. Great service, lovely views. The cabins looked clean and comfy from the outside. Loved the pretty garden which was still lovely near mid-September. We would come back!
