My and my girlfriend had a meal here Saturday night, I cant praise it enough the food was amazing cooked to perfection! Obviously an amazing chef, the ale was kept to an amazing standard and the service was very quick prompt and friendly without being intrusive. A massive thanks to Richard and the girls for making us feel so welcome and making it such a great evening! :)

My son and I recently stayed at this hotel again as part of a British F1 weekend package. Our twin room was very comfortable, but the 'decor' was a bit 'tired' and obviously a room still on the schedule for upgrading in my opinion. However, that did not detract from the overall opinion of our weekend as the staff are very friendly and welcoming, the food plentiful and good - my only difficulty was choosing what to eat from the extensive menu for dinner each evening! Breakfast was cooked to order, apart from Sunday morning when we had a hot buffet laid out from which to serve ourselves. Again, there was ample choice for everyone and some lovely thick sliced seeded granary bread that had been toasted. Staff could not have been more helpful and were always smiling, even first thing in the morning - we had some fairly early breakfasts so we could get to Silverstone by coach for the day. There is some lovely countryside on the doorstep, but if you need a mobile phone or reliable and fast internet connectivity then you may be a bit disappointed. However, we both had a most enjoyable weekend here and when we left on Monday after breakfast felt we would love to return for another break sometime.

Had a lovely weekend in this inn. View from our window was lovely. Food was very good. We asked the hotel if we could change our room to one on the ground floor before we arrived and the staff were very happy to oblige. Would stay again.

Tucked away down a no through road in Henton is the Peacock Inn . The village is lovely and this hotel serves genuinely excellent meals from a very good menu . The rooms are comfortable and the staff really are a great team .Martin the proprietor is so helpful and nothing is too much trouble . We will be back !

Room Tip: I suspect that the ground floor rooms are cooler in summer.

We had such a lovely meal here and were so impressed by the very friendly, efficient staff. The atmosphere is very relaxing. Great roasts too - I had hake in an amazing sauce and my friend had pork with perfect crackling. I will be dreaming about the cauliflower cheese tonight. So glad we found you, we will be back!

Have just returned after a one night stay at this very friendly inn. There were eight adults (four couples) in our party and we were seated at an enormous round table for dinner, which was delightful. I have to say that the food was amazing - delicious and beautifully presented. We had such a wonderful time that four and a half hours simply flew past. Martin and his staff were both friendly, helpful and professional.
Our room was relatively basic but spotlessly clean with a comfortable bed. Tea/coffee with kettle also supplied.
Breakfast saw us shown back to the round table. Fresh coffee/tea was served with fruit juice, cereals and fresh fruit on the side to help yourself. Our hot breakfast order was then taken and served freshly cooked - sausage, egg, bacon, tomatoes, beans and mushrooms with oodles of toast to accompany it. Very, very pleasant.
I really cannot recommend dining at this inn highly enough - the restaurant was full with regulars from near and far. We shall hopefully return in the not too distant future.
