We booked this cottage for first time and i can only recommend it highly enough its everything there what we needed its situated in lovely area and its furnished very modern. We will definetly book it again thank you
Brilliant location for waling and visiting friends in the area
House is very practical, easy to accommodate six of us and a well behaved dog.
We contacted Vicky about access and exact location and she was very helpful. All good.
The home was very clean with plenty of space inside. Also fully equipped with everything you would need for a comfortable break. The garden is lovely with a fast flowing stream at the side so guests with young children would need to take care.
Being on a main road was no problem, I was not aware of traffice noise at night.
Location is great for touring the area with access to Shrewsbury and the Shropshire Hills a short drive away. Great communication from the owner so my holiday was completely hassle-free. Would definitely recommend.
We have just got back from a lovely weekend away in this property. We wanted somewhere where we could relax and chill out with friends. This place is perfect... I don't think the photos do this place justice.. the house is much bigger than the photos indicate.. the kitchen is fabulous with all the utensils, pots and pans you you ever need.
The place is spotless .. lots of towels provided..
garden.. this is just gorgeous, river running through .. great for paddling adults and older children..
if we go again we would take a disposable BBQ and some camping chairs so we could chill for the evening in the garden..
would definitely recommend as a base for touring the area.. directly on the A49 so perfect access.
We had a lovely few days in the Shropshire Hills. The property was located close to the hill walls and value for money with a great semi open plan space downstairs. Our kids enjoyed looking at the fish in the brook in the garden. We appreciated being able to book just a few nights, starting at any day of the week, which gave us ultimate flexibility.
The finish of the house and garden is fit for purpose though in our opinion, ready for a bit of TLC e.g. Bathrooms (upstairs shower doors did seem to leak etc) and building materials in garden. For us, an improvement would be to add a dishwasher to the lovely large kitchen and a bonus would be wifi.
This is lovely modern former bungalow with all the important bits ( no wifi, sometimes a bonus.) The stream is lovely for children and grampy's to play in supervision that's the only reason I went in. The garden though grass and woodland is brilliant for exploring plus an endless supply of poo sticks. The area we covered in 2 weeks was from Wolverhampton in the east to Anglesey in the west and a fair few others between. Star attractions for me 60+ was Black Country Museum (best fish and chips ever) RAF Cosford museum, Snowdonia National Park ( stunning views). More locally The Stiperstones the 360' views from these hills were outstanding, and the Bog centre was a gem homemade cakes teas and coffee and some lovely local craft items for sale, run by volunteers very well. I hope to return
