“Prime location for designer shopping.”
Reviewed 1 November 2013 via mobile

This Logis offers the usual features of affordable functional clean accommodation but lacks the unique culinary or charm benefits that are the usual Logis hallmark. Breakfast is provided in-house but other meals are provided in a restaurant next door and you are provided with a discount voucher. However, this Logis special feature is the very large designer outlet village at the end of the road so you can indulge in some serious retail therapy in your stopover enroute to the south of France.

I'm surprised this is a Logis albeit it boasts just one chimney. Whenever I have gone to a Logis in the past I have been impressed by quality of accommodation (even though, frequently, quite simple) and food. In this case it is new, under construction, motel accommodation that has no restaurant attached although there is a restaurant next door.

The accommodation was very basic but, I suppose, adequate. The staff were very helpful, very polite and informative. The accommodation was not expensive and served it's purpose but failed completely to live up to my expectation of a "Logis" which was the reason I booked it. The following night I stayed in a "Logis" that fully lived up to my expectations - thank goodness.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing away from construction site and business park or you will have a very early al...

My wife and I stayed for 1 night on the 29th June 2013. Having driven for 8 hours from Spain, all we needed was a clean, bright, functional room, for a good nights sleep. We did not get any of these minimal requirements. One of the bath towels had faded brown stains. The lighting was inadequate. The room (ground floor of the Annexe) was dingy at best. The toilet flush malfunctioned, and had to be tweaked several times to stop it continually flushing and refilling. The grounds immediately in front of the Annexe, comprised of several sq. metres of overgrown weeds.
We paid 60 euros. It is the worst Hotel in France that we have stayed in, within the 40 to 60 euros bracket. I can recommend Ace Hotels for brilliant value and cleanliness (especially Issoire).

Room Tip: Drive straight on

A reasonable one night stop-over convenient for the motorway. The place is currently being built so at first sight the bathroom looked really good. However, as soon as the floor gets wet the tiles are lethal, there is no grab rail in the shower which is in the bath. There are no shelves and only one hook...best of all there was only hand towels.....I didn't check before I got in the shower !!!
The room was basic and though the air conditioner looked new it was not very effective. There are a couple of restaurants in Creney (a 10 minute walk) but they were both closed on Monday nights, however, the Courtepaille next door does a reasonable meal. Breakfast was reasonable but nothing special.
The internet code was given to people hand written on a pieces of paper, in our case the back of somebody's bill....hardly professional
I'm sure there are better options closer to Troyes itself

we have used this hotel 3 times now as a 'stop over' on our way to/from the alps and have found it perfect for a place to sleep. there is a restaurant next door so great to have a meal - and with a discount from the hotel!. rooms are a good size. clean. you can book a room with a shower, or a room with a bath and shower, or a room that has 3 beds. really close to the motorway so you don't lose time if it's on your way to ski! fellow guests can be noisy, but if you're tired from driving not a probem!
the staff are really friendly and make sure that you have everything you need.

Room Tip: the ground floor rooms are bigger. if on the 1st floor, get a room at the end so you don't hear...

This hotel is located 2 minutes from the McArthur Glen outlet centre so if you're planning on doing any shopping there, this is as near as it gets. The bedrooms are in a separate building from reception. Our bedroom was spacious and very clean. The beds weren't the most comfortable but we were only staying for one night. It is next door to a Courtepaille restaurant which gives hotel guests a 15% discount. The hotel is just off the motorway. Breakfast was excellent. The biggest problem we encountered was noise from the other rooms - the walls are paper thin!
