Eleni and her team are the best example of a Cretan Family restaurant, professional, friendly and most important....AMAZING food! Well done, and we will be sure repeating once we are back in the area!

Incredible flavors in all home(grandma) cooked dishes. A must visit traditional tavern with quality and respect to traditional Greek and Cretan food.
Simple flavors is the recipe.
We have been visiting Kamares almost every year!
Keep the good work!

Stopped here on our way back from Elafonissi to have lunch.
Peacefull and lovely little place.
Very reasonable priced dishes. We had rabbit meat stifado and french fries.
Food tasted well and the service were good.
Toilet standard was well aboved what I had expected, very clean.

The atmosphere was very relaxing and friendly. This is a family owned business and the Greek food is home-made. French fries and Greek salad were great! I enjoyed my lunch break before driving on to Elafonissi Beach.

Me and my two friends stopped at the place on the way back from Elagonissi Beach. The local is quite cozy, but there's not much to see in the village. We ordered mousaka, bureki and goat meat cooked in olive oil. We were served pretty quickly and the dishes initially looked tasty, but as soon as we tasted we were very disappointed, especially from the bureki. It was different from all the others we had tried before in Crete and not good at all. The goat meat was really good though, definitely to try.
