A lovely village and certainly one to stop and wander if passing through. Nice shop and a few places to get a coffee/snack. Great place for walkers, car park, toilets. Fabulous views.

Kettlewell is a beautiful village, nestled in Upper Wharfedale, scenery is stunning and it's a good base for walkers, touring and lovers of beautiful scenery. A very special place, lovely Church, well stocked village store, the Scarecrow festival in August is amazing! The village was also on stage 1 of the Grand Depart of the Tour de France! Visit Zarina's tearoom...outstanding!

Very pretty village, with no modern buildings to spoil the area. Seems as though a lot of properties are holiday homes and/or rental. Perfect position for the numerous walks, short and long, to see the wonderful countryside. Complete with good eating places, it is a perfect break from the busy city.

Kettlewell is a typical Yorkshire village nestled away in a valley bottom. The village itself doesn't consist of much; pubs, cafes, art shop etc but the scenery is majestic and the walking from here is fabulous - especially if you venture up some of the surrounding hills. It is only a short walk along the valley to Startbotton which is likewise quaint. Further up the road is Buckden which will be on the Tour de France Yorkshire sections. A good spot to strike out from or to plan a break on a long walk.
