“Great find in the East End”
Reviewed 6 July 2014

We drove by Zukka on our coastal crawl located on the Queens Highway and we were nervous about native fusion, but we're so happy we stopped! They have everything from burgers, pizza and pasta, fresh fish and tenderloin, all prepared with an Australian flair. The restaurant provides binoculars to see wrecked ships off the coastline and has a great sandy area for dining, as well balcony seating and dining inside. The sous chef fed the fish and birds which provided additional ambiance! We even were able to see a shark! The food was great and so were the cocktails. They are close to the Reef and it is only about 15 minutes from Rum Point, which was where we stayed. They also provide transportation which is a great if you consume too many Mudslides and will deliver food to Morritts and The Reef. I would highly suggest the Sunday Brunch or Walkabout Wednesday which provides a 4 course dinner.

“A 'must visit' restaurant!”
Reviewed 4 July 2014

We had dinner at Tukka this evening and I can honestly say that whole experience was excellent. Today was 'Fish Friday' and there was an excellent choice of fresh fish which was prepared and served exquisitely. All the dishes ordered were of the same high quality which included the deserts which were just fabulous. The staff and the owner Ron were very attentive and helpful throughout and certainly contributed to a convivial atmosphere. This is a great place to have excellent food whilst looking out across the Ocean. Something not to be missed on a visit to Grand Cayman.

“Great Restaurant Away From Seven Mile Beach”
Reviewed 4 July 2014

Tukka's is a great restaurant in the East End of the island. We went during the off season and never had to wait for a table, but they do take reservations. It's a beautiful view from their deck looking out onto the water and The Wreck of the Ten Sails (they even have binoculars you can use to see the wrecks better!) They do a feeding of the birds at 5:30 which is really neat to see and they are open on Mondays - which we found was rare for most island restaurants. They even have a complete vegetarian and gluten free menu! The only downside we can think of was the wait staff weren't really attentive and we often had to ask for water refills, to place an order, for the check, etc.

“One of the Best on the Island”
Reviewed 3 July 2014

From the phone reservation to the bill, this restaurant had it together. I called the restaurant to inquire about seating options for a large party. They were incredibly helpful and patient. Upon arrival they greeted me as Mr Jim, a small token appreciation. The views were spectacular. the service was outstanding. the food was about as good as anywhere you can get on the island. And yes, we went back to Tuka three times on this trip. Enough said.
