“Fantastic!”
Reviewed 13 August 2014 via mobile

We stayed in the East End area for our weeklong stay on the island, very near Tukka, and ended up there twice. Both times were worth the trip. Definitely recommend the Kangaroo Lollipops! Everything we tried was delicious.

“Lionfish Ceviche, Coconut Shrimp, Conch and Crocodile Fritter, and a Caybrew Light at Tukka....LIFE IS GOOD!!!”
Reviewed 12 August 2014

I can't say enough about our dining experience at Tukka Restaurant and Bar. We sat at a lovely table on the lanai overlooking the Caribbean and started with an appetizer of Lionfish Ceviche and more...delicious. For dinner we had the evening special of Grilled Snapper. It was prepared perfectly. And we had heard so much about the date and walnut pudding that we just had to try it. Wow!!!! This was by far the best dessert we've had in a very long time. To top off the evening Chef Ron came to our table to say hello and he and his wife Lana are just fantastic hosts. They have a way of making every guest feel special. What a perfect evening. The food and service was so amazing that we had to return a second time during our one week stay for the Sunday Brunch. All I can say is "kangaroo sushi"!!! You just have to try it. Go hungry because there is so much to choose from on the brunch buffet and you'll want to try everything. Place Tukka at the top of your TO DO List while on Grand Cayman. You'll be so glad you did!!!

“Great for Happy Hour- But Watch the Cost”
Reviewed 11 August 2014

We stopped for happy hour the other day due to the great reviews. The location was fabulous- drinks and appies on the deck, beautiful site. The staff was extremely friendly and thorough. We had a couple of yummy drinks, and took advantage of the happy hour menu-- or rather it took advantage of us! Appetizers are $1.75 EACH piece, depending on the time you order. Other items varied from $4-$8. The food was good, though! Our bill for four cocktails and food was $108!!!! Yikes! Yes, we should have paid better attention to what we were doing, but we were enjoying ourselves and were hungry!

“Tukka!”
Reviewed 10 August 2014

We went to Tukka twice because it got our top vote of all the restaurants we visited on Grand Cayman. The owners have got their act together here and have put together an interesting menu which can be described as a fusion of Australian and Caribbean styles. I can recommend the Lion Fish ceviche and the prawn curry is excellent. We sat outside and enjoyed the warm evening air while listening to the lap of the waves on the beach. Great experience, great food and well worth a visit.
